An Enhanced DBS cook for your care facility is essential, which is why it is one of our top priorities. We ensure that all our candidates hold a recent, up-to-date Enhanced DBS check. This DBS will be sent to you with each booking for your records.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
This is our edge and our priority when delivering temporary cooks for care facilities like yours. We have implemented an online CPD-approved safeguarding course for vulnerable adults, which is completed by every single worker. The certificate will be included in the candidate pack upon booking and is refreshed annually.
Food safety
Level 2 Hygiene, Allergen & IDDSI Awareness
It goes without saying that all our cooks and catering assistants for care facilities are trained in Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen Awareness Level 2. All our training courses are CPD-approved and delivered online to our candidates. Copies of the qualifications are submitted to you before the assignment begins for your approval.
Reference Checks
Additional Background Checks
Any candidate wishing to join our Enhanced DBS cooks team must provide two completed reference checks from previous employers (where available). This is vital to our onboarding process, and the references will be included in the candidate pack sent to you before an assignment begins.
